Sheboatin' is a one of a kind pedal tavern boat that is a pedal-powered, eco-friendly, lake-cruiser for up to 10 people. Sheboatin' is powered by you and your fellow pedallers. It’s hard not to smile on Sheboatin'!

Sheboatin' Pricing

Sheboatin' Elkhart Lake, WI : Tours pick up at the Elkhart Lake public boat launch, located on County P just north of French Road. There's parking available across the street and overflow parking slightly to the north. 

$380 - Private group for up to 10 people

$45/person - Individual seats (minimum of 6)

For an additional $20/person, get a Sheboatin' T-shirt and koozie!

Sheboatin' Rules

Policy Enforcement

The Sheboatin' Captain for your tour is in charge at all times and will enforce the following policies. It is also the responsibility of the person who booked the tour to help the pilot in hosting the group in order to maintain a fun and safe experience.

Reservation Policy

Upon making a reservation for Sheboatin', you will receive a confirmation email or text for your order. Please double-check your email address before submitting your booking.

If you did not receive a confirmation email or text, please give us a call to verify your email address and confirm.

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your start time to ensure that we can check you in, sign liability waivers, go over the rules, and get the tour started on time.

Payments

For private group parties, 100% payment is due upon reservation, this is non-refundable.

Individual ticket reservations are charged the full price upon booking and are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Refunds

You may call or email us to cancel your reservation up to 14 days before your reservation date and receive a full refund minus booking fees.

 

You may call or email us to reschedule your reservation date, subject to availability, up to 14 days before your reservation date.

We cannot cancel or reschedule less than 14 days from the reservation date. Any payments or deposits made will be forfeited in the case of cancellation within 14 days of the reservation date.

If your reservation is rescheduled, we cannot reschedule or cancel a second time. These bookings will still be charged the full amount. Make sure to cancel or reschedule in advance if you need to!

Alcohol Policy

You may BYOB beer and wine on board! We have the following policies in order to ensure both a fun, safe and legal experience. Observance of these policies is required for all groups:

  • Beer and wine only — no hard liquor

  • No glass containers on board

Weather Policy

We ride rain or shine, but for safety we cancel if there is lightning or other severe weather. If we have to cancel the tour based on severe weather conditions, you will receive a full refund minus booking fees or rain check for another date.

Weather cancellations are not made until right before your tour’s scheduled start time, as weather can be unpredictable.

Inappropriate Behavior Termination

Inappropriate behavior by participants will result in termination of the tour for the entire group. Your captain has sole discretion on terminating a tour for misbehavior. Groups who have their tour terminated for any reason will not receive a refund and will incur a $100 penalty fee.

These behaviors include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Excessive intoxication — do not show up already intoxicated, and pace yourself!

  • Providing alcohol to anyone under the age of 21 or on the street

  • Bringing glass or hard liquor on board in violation

  • Jumping off the boat while it's moving

  • Using vulgar language at pedestrians, the police, or others

  • Any other inappropriate behavior or violation of local, state and federal laws

Remember—The Sheboatin' captain is in charge! Make sure to have a good time, but use common sense and obey the rules!

Sheboatin' F.A.Q.

What is Sheboatin'?

It’s a 8-10 person (weight dependent) pedal powered boat. Sheboatin' is perfect for, birthday celebrations, bachelor/bachelorette parties, company outings, sightseeing, themed nights out- the possibilities are endless! A minimum of 6 people pedaling is necessary to power Sheboatin'. You can bring your own alcohol on Sheboatin' however no hard liquor or glass allowed.

How many people can ride Sheboatin' at a time?

The boat can only hold so many pounds of weight so depending on weight the number of people can vary, up 8-10 people are allowed.

Where do we board Sheboatin'?

In Elkhart Lake, tours will pick up at the public boat launch located on County P (just north of French Road), in Elkhart lake. Here's the link. There is a dock for pickup and drop off.

Does Sheboatin' have a motor? 

Yes - Sheboatin' has two separate ways to power though boat to assist with propelling the boat through the water.

Can we eat and drink on Sheboatin'?
YES! - but you have to follow the rules. NO HARD LIQUOR OR GLASS ALLOWED! You can bring beer, wine coolers and hard ciders, etc - no glass!!! Bring your own cooler. You are also free to bring food.  

Can we decorate Sheboatin' for our special occasion?
Of course! Be sure to arrive the full 30 minutes in advance of your tour depart time to give yourself enough time to put up the decorations.

Sheboatin' is a great experience for bachelorette party ideas  in Elkhart Lake, WI. Furthermore, Sheboatin' is great for birthday parties, girls night out, book club, wine club, or a fun thing to do in Sheboygan. 

What if it rains?
Sheboatin' operates rain or shine! If it's going to rain, we recommend bringing rain jackets and/or ponchos. It’s still a lot of fun- think of it as an adventure, plus we have a roof to cover you. We only cancel due to unsafe conditions.

Are people under the age of 21 allowed on board?
Yes, but they will not be able to consume alcohol.

What if we need to cancel our reservations?

Cancellations will receive a full refund if cancelled two weeks prior to reservation. No refunds will be given if cancelled within two weekends. Tours may be rescheduled two weeks prior.
